Pee stinks!

Dallin is learning to use the toilet, he he's a BOY and it's a lot different than my first time around with a girl. For one thing, it's a lot more messy! He doesn't quite get "aiming" yet and although he does try sometimes, he doesn't really know what he's doing. For now I'm teaching him to sit down to pee, but ya know that little space between the toilet seat and the toilet bowl? Somehow he almost always manages to shoot right there! I'm getting tired of getting peed on. Any advice??

Yea! You posted! I miss your cute kids and their antics. Good luck with potty training. It's way messy with boys. I wish I had good advice.

I think you're out of luck:) I don't think boys ever perfect their aim (even grown boys) HAHA. We just did the potty thing with Wyatt. I am one of those who waits for them to do it on their own, for me it goes quicker with less accidents. I have to agree I hate pee and especially cleaning toilets. Who ever thought we'd become professional urine sanitizers! HAHA Miss You!

Thanks for the pee story. It made me grateful that I never have to potty train a kid who has the ability to shoot pee at will.

I know I've had friends who would put targets in the bowl for their boys to try to hit. I'm trying to remember what it was.... a piece of dried macaroni? Anyway, the idea was to drop it in the toilet bowl, aim and shoot. Chase it around in the water, etc. Makes potty time into a game. You're not allowed to use your hands, of course. Maybe it was even a smallish colored piece of toilet paper, and you "win" when the water sinks. Anyway, good luck!
