Things are getting exciting

We're having a good time waiting for this baby. Only a few details need to be ironed out. We've been having multiple doctor visits every week for tests. Everything seems to be fine. Lucy seems to be a little small (about 4 1/2 lbs) but she's growing steadily and has turned her head in the right direction now! Enjoy the photos!

Here's Susan on Sunday afternoon. We found out last week that Lucy was breech, but she's been very mobile lately and has hopefully shifted position.

I think you can see some progress in this one. Little Lucy was doing some serious gymnastics this week to the amazement of her mother.

Cute Ultrasound pictures!

Had another ultrasound Tuesday. Our baby was very squirmy and kicking but soon settled down and we could actually see her sucking her thumb! The ultrasounder driving the machine said she'd never seen a baby sucking a thumb this young (24 weeks). There's also a photo of a crib donated to our cause by a friend of ours and fellow optometry student who has had enough of this beautiful white crib. Enjoy the photos.

Look at this! Our friend gave us a crib! What a generous guy! Shouldn't give his name without permission of course, so we'll call him Challancy. Thanks Challancy. 

This is a cute profile. Our baby is actually sucking her thumb! You can also look carefully and see closed eylids and open nostrils. (sucking her thumb or picking her nose?)
